Associate of Criminal Justice

The Associate of Criminal Justice degree prepares students for careers in the diverse and challenging field of Criminal Justice, which includes Law Enforcement, Adult Corrections, Juvenile Correction, Adult and Juvenile Probation and Parole, Private Investigations, and Security. In addition to learning about the three facets of the criminal justice system (law enforcement, corrections, and the courts), this interdisciplinary program provides a strong foundation in logical reasoning, oral and written communication, lab science, humanities and the arts, and the social and behavioral sciences. Graduates with an Associate of Criminal Justice will be well prepared to complete a Bachelor in Criminal Justice or another field, such as Sociology, available through NMSU Online.
