Computer and Information Technology

The Associate of Applied Science in Computer and Information Technology degree prepares students for work in the IT field in schools/universities, business, and government settings. Skills include PC repair, installing and configuring operating systems, managing network systems and installing and configuring standard business software. Students have the opportunity to earn different industry certifications in programming, networking, operating systems, network security, and server administration. Academy alliances and partnerships provide access to free software and discounts for industry certification exams. Graduates are often hired quickly and have opportunities for advancement.
