Students enrolled in this program will gain informative knowledge in learning how assumptions and policies regarding gender, race, sexuality, ethnicity, physical ability, nationality, and other social dimensions shape the human and material conditions of men’s and women’s lives in differing geographical locations. In essence, students will:

  • Become socially aware of varying policies and actions affecting both men and women, and engage in critical and constructive discussions about diversity issues and social justice.
  • Students can demonstrate in both academic and non-academic careers broader knowledge of the intersectionality of gender, race, and sexuality.
