The BA in Gender and Sexuality Studies degree program from NMSU Global Campus is designed to equip you with the knowledge and analytical skills you need to engage with existing power structures and transform lives and communities.

In this program, you will learn how assumptions and policies regarding gender, race, sexuality, ethnicity, physical ability, nationality, and other social dimensions shape the human and material conditions of men’s and women’s lives in differing geographical locations. In essence, you will:
- Become socially aware of varying policies and actions affecting both men and women.
- Engage in critical and constructive discussions about diversity issues and social justice.
- Demonstrate in both academic and non-academic careers broader knowledge of the intersectionality of gender, race, and sexuality.
- Analyze gender understandings from a social, multicultural, and institutional perspective.

The BA in Gender and Sexuality Studies program consists of 120 credits. To earn this degree, you need to complete all University degree requirements, which include General Education requirements, Viewing a Wider World requirements, and elective credits, with 48 credits in courses numbered 300 or above.
