In this flexible, affordable program, you’ll have the opportunity to analyze the research of our expert faculty, deepening your knowledge of systems engineering areas, and master the complete lifecycle of systems. You’ll also learn how to transform a set of customer needs, expectations, and constraints into either a productive system or a piece of a system-of-systems.

The Graduate Certificate in Systems Engineering is a 12-credit certificate. It’s designed for technical professionals who have an undergraduate degree in engineering, engineering technology, or a related field. The program is offered in Fall, Spring, and Summer.

To complete the certificate program, you must be admitted to the Graduate School as a certificate student. If you are considering pursuing a degree in electrical or industrial engineering, you should contact that department for admissions requirements and advising.
