Stephanie M., Class of 2024

In the MA in Economics program, you’ll gain a strong foundation of economic theory, developing a working knowledge of fiscal policy and financial risk.

Throughout your two years in this flexible, affordable program, you’ll take theoretical courses that are useful for economics doctoral applications, including political science, public policy, finance, statistics, and mathematics, and you’ll gain the skills you need to support decision-making processes involving global markets and foreign aid.

In addition to your chosen electives or concentration, the program deepens your understanding of micro- and macroeconomics and shows you how to integrate quantitative and statistical techniques for business research and management.
