In the language, literacy, and culture program from NMSU Global Campus, you’ll prepare to support diverse readers and writers in your classroom. This master’s program is designed with a rich intercultural curriculum, and you are encouraged to engage in leadership and research activities in a variety of settings at local, state, and federal levels.
This program emphasizes the development of critical and expansive perspectives on language for diverse Pre-K-12 public school students. You can expect to broaden your skill set and gain the knowledge you need to successfully work with students and families from a wide range of cultural backgrounds.

The Master of Arts in Education: Language, Literacy, and Culture consists of 33 credits and is offered in Fall, Spring, and Summer. To add a Reading Endorsement to a New Mexico Teaching license, you need 24 credits in reading or a related area.
Admission requirements include a resume and a statement of purpose.
